Luxcell Premium Fetal Bovine Serum FBSV500 is suitable for the culture of various cell types that require exceptionally high serum quality. This serum has been selected through hematopoietic stem cell proliferation and colony formation screening, and can support the culture of many cell types with high cultivation difficulty, including various types of tissue stem cells, primary cells, and virus production cell lines. Its performance is sufficient to replace imported high-end sera.

Serum Source and Complete Traceability
Our source blood is from domestic beef cattle farms, not from dairy farms in Inner Mongolia or northern regions, which helps prevent antibiotic misuse and residue issues from the source. We manage the entire process, from the farms that provide the donor cows to blood collection and processing. The farms and quarantine status of the donor cows for all fetal bovine sources are traceable, ensuring the quality of the source serum and complete traceability that meets cGMP requirements.

Single-Use Sterile Production System and GMP Manufacturing Standards
Our fetal bovine serum is produced in GMP-compliant facilities, using a single-use sterile production process. Sterile filtration is performed through a series of four disposable filters with pore sizes down to 0.1 μm, with a maximum batch processing volume of 1000L. This minimizes the frequency of batch changes for users, reduces batch-to-batch variability, and lowers the risk of human error. It also eliminates the need for cleaning validation typically required for stainless steel equipment, avoiding potential contamination risks due to inadequate cleaning.

High Standard Multiple Quality Inspections to Ensure Serum Quality and Batch Stability

We conduct quality inspections on each batch of source blood. Only blood that passes inspection is used for production. Finished serum undergoes quality testing on a variety of cell types, including hematopoietic stem cells, T cells, mesenchymal cells, embryonic fibroblasts, primary cells, and multiple cancer cell lines. The dual quality inspection of both source blood and finished product ensures the quality of the serum and the stability between batches. Serum that passes the hematopoietic stem cell quality test can meet the cultivation requirements of most other cell types.
